Fall Semester, 2012
Monday and Wednesday, 3:00 - 4:15 PM in J-110
Brown, B.

Required Text: Bibeault, Bear, jQuery in Action, Second Edition, Manning, 2010. ISBN-13: 9781935182320

Recommended Text:Sebesta, Robert W., Programming the World Wide Web, Seventh Edition, Addison Wesley, 2013. ISBN-13: 9780132665810. This is the book used in IT 3203, the prerequisite to this course. You will use it mostly as a reference in this course. If you do not own a copy, an earlier edition, which might be available used, will probably serve as well as the current edition.

In this intensive class, students gain detailed experience with JavaScript, CSS, and Ajax, the tools of Web 2.0. Projects will include server-side programming with PHP. (You will need the programming and Web development skills provided by the prerequisites.)
