While working at KSU, in the WellStar College of Health and Human Services, I had the opportunity to make several websites for our various departments. Here is a short list, with descriptions:

  1. The main college page - http://www.kennesaw.edu/chhs/ - This page is actually based off of the first major design I did in this position, which was a major redesign of the School of Nursing's website. It is basically a dreamweaver template with a top bar and left-side bar, but edited fairly substantially. As I recall, I made the submenu, changed everything to school colors, etc.

  2. The KSU Health Clinic ( http://www.kennesaw.edu/col_hhs/hc/ ) uses the same template, but after changing the menus around to their specifications, I showed them how it worked and they plugged everything in from there and mostly maintain it themselves.

  3. Wellness Center - http://www.kennesaw.edu/chhs/wellness/ - uses the "AnyLink JS Drop Down Menu v2.0" from dynamicdrive.com for the top menu bar. I created the right-side menu bar to user specifications, using some pictures that they provided. A page that I would like to note - http://www.kennesaw.edu/chhs/wellness/services/testing.html - this page uses two scripts of my own devising, a PHP script to take images from a directory and put them into an array, and a javascript "image cycler" which uses that array to cycle through the images in the array. This image cycler goes in a set order, but I have built some that cycle randomly.

  4. Department of Social Work and Human Services, study abroad initiatives - http://www.kennesaw.edu/chhs/swhs/_initiatives.html - The SWHS department's page is basically the same template as the main WCHHS page (#1) but the initiaitves pages use the image cycler from #2.

  5. WellStar School of Nursing - http://www.kennesaw.edu/chhs/schoolofnursing/ - Features a custom javascript expandable left-side menu, and uses a google search bar up in the upper-right corner.

  6. Department of Health, Physical Education, and Sport Science - http://www.kennesaw.edu/hps/ - The top menu is basically a clone of the top menu from the Wellness Center's page (#2) without the drop-down menus. The left-side bar uses from hierarchical "spry" menus from Dreamweaver CS 4. Also, the main page uses a script to randomly select 8 different images from a pool of images each time the page is loaded.

  7. WCHHS Continuing Education Divison - http://www.kennesaw.edu/chhs/coned/ - Again this uses some features from the WCHHS page (#1), namely the left-menu and breadcrumbs, but also has a CSS right-hand menu.

  8. Brazil Study Abroad page (a work in progress) - http://www.kennesaw.edu/hps/brazil/page2/ - uses several javascript methods and a PHP script to build a menu (lower-right corner) of all of the images in a folder, change the image on the page (so the whole page doesn't have to reload) when you click on the number in the menu, or when you use keyboard arrows to move back and forth, and then another script to make a box in the upper-right corner that shrinks and fades away when the mouse isn't over it, but expands and darkens when the mouse is over it.
