Curriculum Vitae

I am a theoretical particle physicist and Professor of Physics. After my undergraduate study at Caltech and graduate studies at Cambridge and Stony Brook, I held postdoctoral positions at Edinburgh, Florida State, and Cambridge universities, in addition to various visiting scientist positions, before my current faculty position at Kennesaw.
I received the 2008 KSU Distinguished Scholarship Award, the 2014 KSU Distinguished Research and Creative Activity Award, the 2006, 2008, 2012, and 2014 Foundation Prizes, and the 2016 Outstanding Research and Creative Activity Award.

Research

My research is in theoretical high-energy particle physics, mainly in top quark physics, tt and single-top production, Higgs, W and Z production, perturbative Quantum Chromodynamics, soft-gluon resummation, and high-energy phenomenology at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN and at the Tevatron collider at Fermilab.
My research has been funded for many years with grants from the National Science Foundation.

Publications

I have 128 physics research publications, most of them single-authored, which have received over eight thousand citations.
Several of my papers have appeared numerous times among the top-cited particle-physics papers in all-time lists and annual lists for many years.
My research papers can be found in my cv and, with citations, in the INSPIRE HEP database and in Google Scholar.
I have given over a hundred research talks in conferences, universities, and national/international laboratories in numerous countries on five continents.
