Bienvenue!

noah mclaughlin teaches introductory French (FREN 1001—2002) and occationally upper level French courses in the Department of Foreign Languages at Kennesaw State University.

He received his Ph.D. in December of 2007 from the Department of French and Francophone Studies at The Pennsylvania State University. The title of his dissertation was Strategies of the French War Film; the resulting book is currently under contract with Cambria Press.

His primary research interests are eclectic, including  French cinema, 20th century French and Francophone literature, graphic novels and their adaptation to film and gender on television.

noah is an avid songwriter and in his free time also enjoys the creative endeavor of pen and paper roleplaying games like Pathfinder and Dungeons and Dragons.
