COM 4435: Communication Research Methods
Week 4: Conducting focus groups and quantitative research methods. First things first, here are the moderator's guide and survey to use in your focus groups. You will need to print out or make copies of the survey. It's very short, but if you can analyze five questions, you can analyze five hundred.
Work on your lit reviews! Don't forget that they are due on Thursday. Late papers are docked 10 points per day, including weekends. In short, don't turn them in late.
We will discuss survey research on Monday, and then we'll talk about content analysis on Wednesday. Depending on how far we get, we may begin our discussion of experiments on Thursday or the following Monday.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Email me or stop by my office in the new Social Science Building, room 5098. |
