Service

KSU expects faculty to engage in professional service, which means that one must participate in activities that benefit and serve the college, university, professional associations, or the community. Service goes beyond a professor’s teaching and scholarship responsibilities. For example, within the College of Education, I serve on the Tenure & Promotion Committee and a search committee that is recruiting candidates for new positions.
