INSTRUCTIONS:  For questions 1-25 below, correct all punctuation errors by writing in the correct marks in their correct places.  Some sentences only need basic punctuation, like apostrophes and periods; others require more complex forms, such as dashes, hyphens, colons, and ellipses.  Each sentence is worth 3 points: On the real test, you will gain 3 points per sentence for correctly marking all necessary punctuation; any misplaced mark or incorrectly selected mark will penalize you 1 point.  Please make your marks bold and easy to read.  Any vague marks (such as an apostrophe located directly over the letter s) will be considered incorrect.   NOTE: For sentence #2, add any appropriate s’s as necessary.
