Dr. Susan Summers Raines
Assistant Professor of Conflict Management
Kennesaw State University

Susan Summers Raines, Ph.D., M.A., B.A., While her primary fields of interest include international, environmental and public policy conflicts Professor Raines is interested in conflict management at all levels. Her current research interests include international environmental politics generally, and more specifically alternative dispute resolution and global environmental relations. Most recently from Indiana University, she received an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Idaho in 1995 and a B.A. in Government from California State University Sacramento in 1992. Professor Raines frequently presents her work at both national and international conferences and in a variety of academic and practitioner journals. In addition to her academic pursuits, she has designed ADR programs for numerous state agencies in Indiana, has participated in the evaluation of the United States Postal Service’s REDRESS Program, and has mediated disputes in the commercial and environmental realm.
